Born in Mobile, Alabama, Rodger “Roddy” Browning grew up cooking traditional Southern cuisine with ingredients straight from the family garden and as he began to climb the culinary ladder, he immersed himself in the traditions of French cuisine and wine pairing, eventually earning his Level 2 Certified Sommelier designation. Roddy’s wine journey began not just as a complement to his cooking, but as a true passion in its own right. He has spent years studying the complexities of wine regions, varietals, and the art of food pairing, building a wine program that is both thoughtful and approachable.
